Petra Business Solutions, Inc is headed by Pete Evangelista. Pete is a veteran Project Management practitioner, trainer and consultant. Pete’s experience includes implementing project management and project portfolio management processes, training, and coaching across many organizations in a wide variety of industries and non-profit sectors. Pete has been trusted to manage dozens of high-impact projects over his career. He has also been asked to act as PMO Director for clients. Earlier in his career, Pete gained valuable experience and insight as the Managing Director for a prominent “Big X” consulting and firm. He has since managed other consulting operations. Pete is responsible for all client engagements and invokes the help of other trusted associates to meet particular client needs.
The Project Management Institute (PMI) recognizes Pete’s competence in Project Management with certifications for being an ATP (Authorized Training Partner), PMP (Project Mgt Professional), and DASM (Discipled Agile Scrum Master). The NE Ohio PMI Chapter has twice nominated Pete for the Kerzner Award of Project Excellence (2011 and 2022). He holds an MBA from Cleveland State University.
Over the years, Pete has trained many hundreds of students in a variety of Project Management topics: from Project Planning Essentials to Communications to preparing for the PMP Certification Exam. For several years, he also acted as an adjunct professor focused on Project Management at Ursuline College and Baldwin Wallace University,
